Founded in November 2023, TheNexusMarket Research Team operates as an independent, non-affiliated publication focused on a single objective: providing verified, PGP-authenticated marketplace links to protect users from phishing attacks, scam mirrors, and credential theft.
The darknet ecosystem is plagued by fraudulent mirror sites that impersonate legitimate marketplaces. These phishing operations steal user credentials, funds, and compromise anonymity. Our work exists to counter this threat through rigorous cryptographic verification.
Link Verification
Every .onion URL is authenticated against PGP-signed canary messages from marketplace operators. We cross-reference each address with known phishing databases before publication.

Verification Methodology
Our verification process follows a strict, multi-step protocol:
PGP Signature Validation
We obtain the marketplace's official PGP public key from multiple independent sources and verify signed canary messages that contain current .onion addresses.
Phishing Database Cross-Reference
Each URL is checked against community-maintained phishing databases, darknet forum reports, and our own historical records of known scam domains.
Weekly Re-Validation
All published links are re-verified on a weekly cycle. If a link cannot be re-authenticated via PGP, it is immediately flagged and removed from our database.
Editorial Independence
TheNexusMarket is fully independent. We do not operate, endorse, or facilitate any marketplace activity. We do not accept payment from marketplace operators, vendors, or any affiliated parties. Our funding is entirely self-sustained.
All content is reviewed by our research team before publication. We maintain a strict editorial policy that governs our verification standards, content accuracy requirements, and correction procedures.
