1. Content Standards
All content published on TheNexusMarket must meet the following criteria before publication:
Factual Accuracy
Every claim must be independently verifiable. Technical information is tested by our team before publication. Unverified claims are clearly labeled as such.
Source Transparency
We cite sources where possible. For PGP-verified links, we reference the signing key fingerprint and canary message date used for authentication.
Currency Requirement
All guides and link databases must be reviewed at minimum weekly. Content that has not been reviewed within 30 days is flagged and either updated or removed.
2. Link Verification Protocol
Our link verification process is the foundation of this publication. Every .onion URL published on TheNexusMarket undergoes the following process:
PGP Key Acquisition
We obtain the marketplace's official PGP public key from at least two independent sources (e.g., forum signed messages and the marketplace itself).
Canary Verification
We verify signed canary messages containing current .onion addresses. The message must be cryptographically valid and dated within the past 14 days.
Phishing Cross-Check
Each URL is compared against community phishing databases, darknet forum reports, and our internal record of known scam domains.
Live Access Test
We access each URL via Tor to confirm the page loads, matches expected marketplace layout, and presents the correct SSL/onion certificate.
Ongoing Monitoring
Published links are re-validated weekly. If re-authentication fails, the link is immediately marked as unverified and removed within 24 hours.
3. Editorial Independence
TheNexusMarket does not accept compensation from marketplace operators, vendors, or any affiliated parties. We do not sell advertising space, sponsored content, or paid placements.
No marketplace operator has editorial input over our content. Our verification process is the same regardless of the marketplace being evaluated.
TheNexusMarket is a research publication — we do not operate, endorse, or facilitate any marketplace activity. Our role is strictly informational and verification-focused.
4. Corrections & Updates
We take accuracy seriously. Our correction policy:
24-Hour Response
All correction reports are investigated within 24 hours. Critical security corrections (invalid links) are actioned immediately upon verification.
Transparent Corrections
Corrections are noted at the point of change. Date-modified timestamps are updated on every page to reflect when content was last reviewed or corrected.
Version History
All changes to link databases are logged with timestamps. The dateModified and lastReviewed fields on every page reflect actual review dates.
5. Author Attribution
All content is attributed to the TheNexusMarket Research Team. Individual author names are not published due to the sensitive nature of darknet research and the operational security requirements of our team members.
The Research Team consists of individuals with expertise in cryptography, network security, and darknet marketplace infrastructure. Team members collectively have over a decade of experience in privacy-focused technology research.
